About the club

We are a small, friendly club with two lawns set within The Fishbourne Centre grounds. Casual visitors from other croquet clubs or with some experience of Golf croquet are always welcome to join us on Club Afternoons , but please contact us beforehand.

Our season runs from April to October and longer if the weather is fair and dry, and membership is open to people of any age. New recruits are always welcome, and all members have the use of our equipment as well as access to coaching from our more experienced players.

Although most of our members play Golf Croquet We do also have a small enthusiastic group of Association Croquet players who are always keen to introduce new members to this complex and challenging game.

For both formats of the game, there are internal events and regional and national leagues and tournaments for those who wish to play competitively. These cater for all levels of player from beginner to expert.

The club is a member of the South East Croquet Federation (SECF), which coordinates clubs in the region, and organises leagues, development and coaching throughout South East England, including Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight.

We’re also a member club of the Croquet Association, which is the governing body for croquet throughout England and Wales.
