A Perfect National Croquet Day

We welcomed more than 20 visitors to a free taster session on Sunday to celebrate National Croquet day and the sunny weather made it a perfect day.

The guests ranged from total beginners to experienced players and, after selecting a suitable mallet from the equipment provided, and a little practice swinging it, they all played a game or two of golf croquet, enjoying hitting the opponents’ balls away just as much as actually scoring hoops.

Club members provided some helpful advice on the thought provoking tactics involved.
