Budleigh Salterton Association Croquet

Tony Hicks reports:

Here’s a summary of my time playing in the Budleigh Salterton AC Spring Tournament.

In the handicap event, I won five of my six games which put me in the final. After a very close match which could easily have gone either-way, I lost 23 – 20 so I was the runner up, the same as last year.

This year, I also entered the “level-play” class event, where I was placed in the C-class. I won four of my five games, so I was also in the final play-off for the event.

After another very close match it was 17-all at end og time, so we went for the “Golden Hoop”, which I managed and achieved a win of 18 – 17

Tony with the winners’ trophy. A successful end to 39 hours of croquet over five days!
